Queenstown Snowmobiles are dedicated to improving our sustainability practices and the environment in which we operate. Sustainability is ingrained in our operation, from small daily tasks to long term planning and is monitored in accordance with the 12 principles of Tourism Industry Aotearoa's,  Tourism Sustainability Commitment.

Modern Helicopters

Our modern fleet of helicopters have limited carbon and sound footprints.   Plus this season we ride brand-new Polaris Snowmobiles, built with efficiency in mind. 

We also adhere to the Tiaki Promise, work with the Department of Conservation, Fire and Emergency NZ and support a multitude of different local community groups and events.

Carbon Offset

Our sustainability journey is in its infancy, but we are excited by the prospect of making a real difference and we invite you to join us by offsetting the emissions from your flight. We are committed to reducing our carbon emissions through the purchase of NZ native forest* carbon credits.

*When available, internationally sourced carbon credits may be purchased when there are supply constraints.
