Helicopters Queenstown 2020 Limited trading as Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters (GSLH) and Queenstown Snowmobiles (QSM) is a New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) certified Helicopter Company. Our certification allows the company to carry clients on a range of helicopter flights subject to CAA rules and regulations.
Before all flights, passengers are fully briefed on safety procedures.
During scenic flights our pilots may, at their own discretion, change flight paths and landing locations due to safety and weather conditions. Passengers will always be kept fully informed of any changes, safety is always our main priority.
Your safety and comfort are Queenstown Snowmobiles primary focus. QSM reserves the right to cancel or curtail tours for your safety and will endeavour to assist in rescheduling in the event of cancellation.
Highly recommend I took an incredible flight over to go snowmobiling. The team were super friendly and knowledgeable and it was a fantastic experience. Big thanks to Jezza the pilot and Jamie the guide for making it a day to remember! Really under-rated activity to do in Queenstown.

So Much Fun! Oh my gosh, this was so much fun. Beautiful helicopter trip up to the top of a snow field. Suitable for amputees. Ripping around on a snowmobile. Super knowledgeable, helpful staff that know what they are doing to best make it as fun and memorable as possible.

If you’re thinking about it, just book…NOW! The team helped my partner plan the most perfect marriage proposal I could have ever dreamed of, at the top of the Garvie Mountain Region. Daz, our guide, was super chill and made the experience so much fun without compromising on safety. He also filmed the moment my partner popped the question, while stopped at one of the scenic locations & we couldn’t have asked for a better guide to share the moment with. Cody, our pilot, made us feel very comfortable and provided awesome insight as we were flying in and out of the mountain ranges. The views are second to none and I will be dreaming about this day for the rest of my life. Thank you Glacier’s Southern Lakes Helicopters, we can’t want to come back and do it all over again!

Awesome Heli Snowmobiling A great family trip, fantastic helicopter flight with great scenery. Snow mobiling high in the remote Queenstown mountains was so much fun, a child each as passengers on the snow mobile was no problem for a first timer, easy, no experience needed. Luke our helicopter pilot and Das our guide for the snow mobiles were awesome and made the trip easy. Highly recommend this experience

Fly, ride, snow WOW! The whole experience was professionally managed throughout. The helicopter trip over the mountains offers a breathtaking view of Queenstown. The snowmobile trail ride was safe but exciting. A 650cc motorbike on skis. Step off the bike and you are knee deep in powdered snow….. WOW! WOW! WOW!
